6-year-old holds lemonade stand to end student lunch debt in CDA

A second-grader at Hayden Meadows Elementary School has a goal to raise money to help end outstanding school lunch debts of families in the Coeur d’Alene School District. How?  Her “Lemonade 4 Lunch” lemonade stand.This is not her first lemonade stand.  Amiah, 6, raised more than 40 dollars at her first lemonade stand.  Amiah’s mom said her daughter had so much fun, she wanted to keep doing it.  CDA Schools posted on Facebook and said Amiah’s fundraising efforts for her first lemonade stand was enough to pay off the debt for all reduced-price lunch students at her elementary school, Ramsey Elementary and Dalton Elementary.“I’m raising money to help pay off the student lunch bill for Coeur d’Alene Public Schools,” Amiah said.
