A couple ejected from a nudist colony for renovating a bush cabin have laid bare their wrangle with the club as part of legal action over $80,000 in damages.
Fiji-based Robert and Alwyn Nink, both 57, joined the Helios Society in the Dandenong Ranges in 2016, thinking it was an ideal place to escape from the world with like-minded nude enthusiasts.
However, the experience has left the Ninks feeling anything but liberated, as a battle to upgrade their cabin turned into a nasty feud with the nudist club’s secretary that led to allegations of cups of urine being left on a table.
“We thought it would be a chilled out place up in the hills where you can get your gear off and no one is going to judge you or think you’re too skinny or too fat,” Ms Nink said.
“We’re still shaking our heads for what they’ve done to us.”
