How To Get iOS 10 Developer Builds Before The Public Beta Release

At WWDC 2016, Apple announced iOS 10 and made the beta available to developers the very same day. Apple’s public beta program is still around and users who want to test drive the new version of iOS will have to wait until mid July for iOS 10’s beta to be made available to the public. If you’re not a developer and itching to try the new iOS version out then there is still a way to get it. Granted, the mid of July isn’t too far away but the date is tentative at present. Here’s how you can get iOS 10 Beta on your iPhone now.

This process requires an iPhone or iPad that is supported by iOS 10. You do not need a jailbroken device. Before you begin, back up your device. Seriously. Do it.

iOS 10 beta is made available via Zestia, formally known as X-Cydia. It’s a tool that lets you download apps that Apple would otherwise never allow on the App Store but unlike Cydia, it doesn’t require a jailbroken device to be installed.

Step 1: Install Zestia by typing this address in Safari ‘zestia.lmdinteractive.com’ or visit the link at the end of this post in Safari on your iPhone or iPad. The link will only work in Safari and in no other browser. Tap the ‘Install Zestia’ button. When prompted to install the Zestia 2.0 profile, tap ‘Install’. You will be asked to enter your passcode. When download finishes, the Zestia app will be added to your home screen.
